Legal notice

In accordance with the Copyright and Related Rights Act (Zakon o avtorski in sorodnih pravicah, ZASP), Protechnik d.o.o. company (hereinafter “Protechnic” or “the Company”) is the holder of the material copyright for the content, in the broadest sense of the term (texts, photography, sketches, maps and plans, audio and video recordings, computer programmes), that is published on the company’s website. This means that any copying, transcribing, reproduction or any other form of distribution for commercial purposes is forbidden without the written consent of Protechnik.

In exceptional cases the Copyright and Related Rights Act (articles 48, 49, 51) allows the use or reproduction of copyrighted items on the basis of the public’s right to information, for educational purposes, and for illustration, confrontation and referencing in quote form with mandatory source and authorship indication. The Copyright and Related Rights Act (Article 50) also allows for the use or reproduction of copyrighted items in limited numbers for private, non-commercial use.

Protection of personal data

The company guarantees protection of the personal data of its website users to the best of its ability, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Zakon o varstvu osebnih podatkov, ZVOP).

This means that the company only collects personal data when a user submits it voluntarily and signs a statement allowing for the collection, storing and processing of personal data. Protechnic undertakes to store and use the collected data for only as long as is needed to achieve the purpose for which such data were collected.

The company will not forward the personal data of its site visitors to any other legal person or private individual. In the event of cooperation with other companies that provide services for Protechnik (such as setting up and carrying out a contest, or setting up a webpage), they will only be granted access to the data necessary for the performance of their service. These companies are obliged not to abuse access to personal data, but to use them solely for the purpose of performing their service.

Non-compliance with the provisions of the legal notice

Protechnik and the authors of the company’s website content expect website visitors to comply with the provisions of the legal notice and acts on the protection of personal data, intellectual property and copyright law.

Otherwise, the company will be forced to take action against such offenders.

Company liability

The company is obligated to ensure accurate and up-to-date content on its website in good faith and within the limits of its abilities.

However, Protechnik does not exclude the possible occurrence of mistakes in the content. All information presented on the website is therefore merely of an illustrative nature, since the company cannot accept responsibility for their absolute accuracy.

Hypertextual links

The nature of the World Wide Web and Protechnik website renders it impossible to have control over the content of hypertextual links from this website. As a result, Protechnik does not accept any responsibility for the content available through these links.
